Anal-rectal conditions

This practice offers services in a number of Anal-rectal conditions, including: Haemorrhoids, using HAL RAR (Ultrasound guided haemorrhoidectomy), Anal Fistula treated using VAAFT (Video assisted anal fistula treatment) and Anal fissure repaired using a procedure called lateral sphincterotomy.

Haemorrhoids

When vascular structures in the anal canal become swollen or inflamed. Treated using HAL RAR (Ultrasound guided haemorrhoidectomy)

Anal Fistula

Commonly occuring in people with a history of anal abscesses, they can form when abscesses do not heal properly. Treated using VAAFT (Video assisted anal fistula treatment)

Anal fissure

An anal fissure is a break or tear in the skin of the anal canal. Repaired using a procedure called lateral sphincterotomy.
